Located on the campus of San Jose State University, in Downtown San Jose, California the Provident Credit Union Event Center hosts the university’s basketball teams and other events. The venue opened in 1989 as the San Jose State Event Center Arena and has hosted musical acts like Danzig and Nine Inch Nails.
The arena has hosted two professional basketball teams, the San Jose Jammers and the San Jose Lasers.
