The San Francisco Dragons professional outdoor lacrosse team played three seasons in Major League Lacrosse. In their third year, 2008, they played at Spartan Stadium in San Jose. Behind first-year head coach Tom Slate, the Dragons finished third in the Western Division, with a 4-8 record.
In their previous two seasons the Dragons played at Kezar Stadium in San Francisco. In 2006 they finished second in the west, going 7-5 and then losing in the first round of the playoffs. Ryan Powell led the team in their first two seasons, but moved the Denver Outlaws in 2008. Attackman Lewis Ratcliff led the Dragons in points and goals in 2008.
